Adjust Your Drive
Where an insurance adjuster gives you the inside track on auto accidents: why they happen, how your insurance handles them, and how to avoid them.
Hello
My name is Bryon Bromley, and I spent seven years as an insurance adjuster, plus most of my life as a car enthusiast. As an adjuster for a major American insurance company, I investigated thousands of vehicle accidents, talking to the people involved, sifting through physical evidence, determining who was at fault, and settling those claims.
Through my career I have soaked up a lot of knowledge about how and why accidents happen, and I want to share that knowledge with you. I believe this is important information that can help you avoid accidents in the first place, and can help you deal with accidents when they do happen.

The line of thought is that you “bet on yourself to be a good driver.” Basically, betting that you won’t cause an accident, and if someone else hits you, their liability insurance will cover your vehicle.
However, insurance is all about covering the risks of driving. And that line of thought doesn’t account for all the risks. Not by a long shot.
I’ve seen a few things in my line of work. So if any of these concern you, it might be a good idea to add or keep that collision coverage.
